First week and already deep into recruiting!

Hey everyone!
I hope you all had a great first week of classes.
The first two bap meetings went great, I'd like to send a big shout out to Mitch our Committees VP for setting up the lunch and dinner with Domnios. Great call there. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the meetings and left well informed and excited for the semester.

I wanted to give everyone a big reminder that Meet the Professionals is this coming Tuesday the 30th of August, so be sure to get your dues paid and come looking sharp. This event will be a great opportunity for everyone and is a crucial step for the recruiting season.

I also want to stress how helpful it can be to go get all the help you can from Melissa Kraft in Career services. And if you want to get more tips she does a great job providing them over at http://www.facebook.com/pages/U-of-U-Career-Counselor-Melissa-Kraft/175516105847854. She did a wonderful job at the first meetings outlining recruiting and various preparations in the first meeting.

Also we are still in the process of finalizing the changes needed for the night meeting next week. We will be sending that out over the baplist and I will be posting the news up here as well.
Thanks to everyone who came to the meetings this week and I hope we are all off to a good start for the semester!

We made student group of the month at the University of Utah! They wanted a picture of our members, so we took a group picture with a bunch of us all.

Utah Jazz Game

We met with Bob Hyde the CFO over the Utah Jazz.  He showed us around the practice facility and then we went to a Jazz Game afterwards.

Regionals in Fort Collins

This past weekend, our officers were able to attend our Regional Beta Alpha Psi event in Fort Collins Colorado.

We enjoyed our 6am flight to Denver International

We spent our first day in seminars and enjoying the snacks.

We also had some fun playing SPAZ UNO in the hotel room.

And we also enjoyed eating delicious food the whole trip.

It was a great trip and we are looking forward to hosting Regionals this next year.
